Edible Marijuana Safety Tips
-
Never give an edible to someone without telling him or her.
It is never funny to prank another person in this way. It may cause real harm.
Even if marijuana is legal for use in your state, it is not legal to share with parties under 21.
-
Children may confuse edible marijuana products with food.
Edible marijuana should not be used around children.
Like other medicines, keep edibles safely out of reach of children. If a child ingests marijuana, call 911. Be honest. Doctors will be better able to treat the child if they know what happened, and how much they have eaten.
-
Using marijuana together with alochol can be risky.
Combining alcohol and marijuana at the same time can cause nausea and dizziness. It is also likely to cause greater impairment than using one alone.
